課程概述

本課程在人類世的概念下討論與當代生態批評論述，並以當代台灣文學作品為對象，檢視相關批評如何藉由文學作品中展現。生態批評是當前的文學研究重要的主題之一，生態批評不僅關於自然環境的，更包括個人生存與社會環境等議題；這些議題都在當代台灣文學作品中具體展現。生態批評涉及的議題頗為廣泛，本課程則聚焦在人類世這一概念，探索環繞著這一概念關於歷史、地理、動物、自然、科技，甚至怪物等相關議題。 

課程目標
 本課程聚焦人類世概念相關的生態批評，並檢視台灣文學作品中相關論述的展現，其目標一方面希望介紹介紹當前人類世相關的生態批評論述，一方面也將探索當代台灣文學中相關生態批評的具體展現。 
課程要求
 學生需於課前閱讀當週指定的理論與文本、撰寫課前筆記報告，並於課中參與討論及口頭報告，課程結束前需撰寫與授課主題相關之學術論文。
